Inspired by the South Downs: An Artistic day to Walk, Eat & Create Prints

As I write, safe from the elements in my little room in the attic, leaves from the lime trees are swirling about in the air like golden coins. The hens, scuffing about for grubs beneath the leaf litter, are all of a dither as their feathers ruffle into orange tutus. Crows are tossing about above the oaks, shrieking with delight as the wind rushes by, whistling like a singing kettle. Autumn has come all of a sudden, and I love the change in seasons. The Eric Ravilious exhibition is showing at the Towner Gallery in Eastbourne throughout the winter.
